Three new seven-story apartment buildings with a total of 401 units are now under construction by the Washington Real Estate Investment Trust at the Trove in Arlington. The Trove is across the street from the Wellington, a 711-unit complex with three more buildings. Washington REIT in 2015 acquired the Wellington, an existing three-building apartment community, and continues to renovate the complex. The Trove will include a range of apartment sizes from studios to three-bedroom units to provide housing options at a variety of price points.
